With the ultimate goal of retaining its leading position within BiH Telecom market and advancing competitiveness, BH Telecom initiated several projects with ZIRA, an Oracle Certified Advantage Partner (CAP), as part of their overall business improvement strategy with introduction of convergent services while reducing TCO.
ZIRA maintains nine year – long close cooperation with Croatian Telecom, a part of Deutsche Telecom, one of the world’s leading Telecom companies, comprised of business critical, extensive, multifunctional projects. ZIRA was involved in several Projects based on the requirements described as “Legacy systems switch-off” and leveraged new model of Croatian Telecom Operator’s BSS structure.
This project cooperative with GSM operator in Slovenia incorporated several consulting projects for Post-paid and Prepaid market.
This project included:
- Test System development for integration
- End-to End and Acceptance testing of all system interfaces impacted by billing system migration (Mediation, Billing, CRM, Provisioning, DWH, SAP) including:
- Data Conversion/Migration for the entire subscriber base and post-production support
This project comprised of the establishment and start up of the new entrant mobile operator, VIP Mobile Serbia- Mobilkom Austria group. ZIRA provided consulting services that comprised of Integration, End-to-End & Acceptance testing for Prepaid & Post-paid Market, and Post-production support including remote troubleshooting. The consulting services encompassed the following objectives: Analysis of target landscape including core NW & IT systems; Definition of key interfaces; Determination of test tasks and test types; test system development including test cases repository and test plan; test execution and troubleshooting; identification of performance assurance requirements; definition of risks and contingencies; problem management.
This project comprised of the establishment and start up of the new entrant mobile operator VIP Operator Macedonia - Mobilkom Austria group. ZIRA provided consulting services comprised of in-depth analysis of target system architecture with all Core NW & IT systems in a disperse multivendor environment ; Production infrastructure set up support, Coordination of Business simulation, and testing; Integration, End-to-End & Acceptance testing for Prepaid & Post-paid Market; Post-production support - system analysis & troubleshooting.
In close cooperation with Bulgarian Telecom, ZIRA offered Professional and Consulting Services for the project of Billing and CRM system replacement.
In the telecom filed, an old desire strives to create an integrated network that is capable of incorporating a multitude of services and applications regardless of the technology used. It was the rise of the IP technology that made this posssible. Creating an NGN permits the deployment of a high capacity network based on various access techniques tha tis connected to a uniform core network, integrats new and legacy services, and can be operated at low cost. It is safe to say that the emergence of NGN and supporting operating processes related to new services offered throught the latter, using IT systems is a serious challenge for Telco service providers.
The aim of the project is to provide Telecom Operator in Kosovo with joint OSS/BSS solution encompassing CRM, rating, billing, and service fulfillment components. Fulfilling requirements will enable Telecom in Kosovo to offer converged services on the unified account.
Automated Fingerprint\Palm print Information System provided by MOTOROLA is a country wide project with two identical, remotely replicated back ends (DB) and 24 remote frontends. BiH AFIS/APIS system is the fourth system of this type implemented in the World and falls under an environment critical solutions category. With a stress on high security and confidentiality, the project goal was crime detection and reduction using automated forensic tools for fingerprint analysis and recognition.
As a local partner with Motorola, Zira provided professional services under the scope of local Project coordination, delivery, support for installation, integration, implementation, customization, training, testing, & acceptance. Also, Zira provided post-production support within a three year period.
